yeah yeah, bill gates did some charitable things but the only reason he did them was to try and improve his public image. truth is, he was a greedy heartless monopolistic businessman who stole ideas from other companies and drove them out of business. if you really want to "remember bill gates" why don't you talk to all of the people he screwed over

I have talked to a lot of people and yes, some feel that Bill Gates' business practices were less than ethical. However, business is business. Gates' job was to make his company and his investors money. He did that, and he did it very well. - Jack

Why billgatesisdead.com?
Jack, while I can understand and perhaps even appreciate your fascination with Bill Gates and your creation of this "ultimate portal on Bill Gates" as you call it, I can't understand why you chose such an insensitive domain name "billgatesisdead.com" -- and the use of the Microsoft logo typeface just makes it worse. Don't you see that that phrase is hurtful to those who knew Gates?

As I'm sure you know, the initial flurry of press and media attention on the Bill Gates assassination was enormous. The common "catch phrase" that reporters used was usually something like "Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates is dead today as he was shot from..." That media attention was fascinating, and the continued use of that phrase stuck in my mind, so I decided to make the "Bill Gates is dead" part into the logo of my website. I don't feel that it is hurtful to anyone any more than the press was. Also, that's not the Microsoft logo typeface, it's just Microsoftesque. - Jack

Keeping this site up and running is not cheap. What little money I make from selling adbars and the store goes toward that. Obviously you're hurt by the fact that Bill Gates has passed on, as many people are, but perhaps you could learn to control your emotions a little more before sending off letters like this. - Jack
